INKLESS MICRONEEDLING

What is inkless microneedling?

Inkless microneedling is a non-invasive skin treatment using a tattoo machine without pigment to treat white stretch marks and certain types of scars. The process creates microchannels that trigger the body’s natural healing response, boosting collagen and elastin production. A custom serum is used to promote skin regeneration and hydration.

Can all scars and stretch marks be treated?

No — this technique is only recommended for white or hypopigmented textured scars stretch marks that are fully healed for at least 12 months. Red or purple (active) stretch marks should not be treated with inkless microneedling.

What skin concerns does it help with?

  • White (mature) stretch marks

  • Surgical scars

  • C-section or tummy tuck scars

  • Acne scars (in certain cases)

  • Burn or trauma scars (after full healing)

  • Self harm scars

Is inkless microneedling safe for all skin tones?

  • Yes — but with care. While this method is pigment-free, Fitzpatrick skin types IV to VI may still be at risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). A patch test is strongly recommended to evaluate your skin's reaction. In some cases, hyperpigmentation may persist for 12 weeks or longer.

Does inkless microneedling hurt?

Most people describe it as mildly uncomfortable. Sensations are similar to light scratching. Numbing cream can be used depending on the treatment area.

How many sessions are needed?

Most clients need 1 to 3 sessions, spaced 6–8 weeks apart, depending on skin type, area size, and the depth of the stretch marks or scars.

What’s the healing time?

Healing time varies greatly from person to person and depends on skin tone and sensitivity. Redness, sensitivity, or tightness may last a few days. Aftercare is extremely important to avoid complications and support healthy regeneration. Fitzpatrick skin types IV to VI may be at risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). In some cases, this hyperpigmentation may persist for 12 weeks or longer.

How soon will I see results?

You may notice changes in texture and tone within 4–6 weeks, with continued improvement for up to 3 months post-treatment.

Are the results permanent?

Results are long-lasting. While the skin may not return to its pre-damaged state, most clients experience a visible reduction in the appearance of stretch marks or scars. Maintenance may be recommended over time.

What does it cost?

Pricing typically starts at $300 per session, depending on the treatment area. Custom quotes are provided after consultation.
